YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE
The Junior Financial Analyst supports the finance team by performing financial analysis, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.
IMPACT OUR BUSINESS BY
Gather financial data from various sources such as financial statements, market reports, and industry trends.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist in preparing financial models and forecasts based on collected data.
Prepare and present financial reports, charts, and graphs to senior analysts and management.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial reports and analysis.
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
Analyze budget variances and work with departments to ensure budget adherence.
Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
Support the finance team in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
Assist in the evaluation of new projects, investments, and business opportunities.
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
Assist in maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Your Knowledge
Must have a BBA in accounting or finance.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a related area.
Ability to provide financial projections.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages like QuickBooks.
Advanced MS Excel skills, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of analytics tools and evaluation metrics.
Excellent communication skills, including writing in both English and Spanish.
Excellent interpersonal relations skills
Ability to prioritize all the different tasks in the backlog according to the needs of the organization.
