Junior Litigation Attorney

Direct Counsel is currently seeking a Junior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a reputable law firm in Santa Monica's dynamic team. As a key member of the litigation department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trial
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the California State Bar
1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation preferred
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range: $110,000 - $165,000 per year (DOE)
Job Type: Onsite - Full-Time
