As a Lab Technician at Pinnacle, you'll play a key part in ensuring the success of our fertility treatments, working in a fast-paced environment that directly impacts patient care and clinical operations.
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our dedicated team at the Institute for Human Reproduction located in Oak Brook, IL. This is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and analyze samples, including blood and semen, following standard laboratory protocols. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as blood analyzers and microscopes. Document and report test results accurately and promptly. Assist in the preparation of laboratory reagents and solutions. Ensure all laboratory processes comply with safety and quality standards. Maintain laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed. Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy of test results. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations. Enter patient and clinical data into electronic medical records (EMR) and other databases with high accuracy. Verify and correct data discrepancies to maintain data integrity. Generate reports and analyze data to support clinical and administrative decision-making. Perform regular data quality audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA regulations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Associate or bachelor's degree in medical technology or biological sciences. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent preferred. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and data management software. Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining data confidentiality and security. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to other clinic locations as needed. Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$20.00 - $23.00 hourly
The compensation range for this position is between $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
