While Innovista Health's main offices are in Oak Brook, IL and Houston, TX, we have remote employees throughout the US.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Lead Automation Developer is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to enhance internal operations at Innovista Health Solutions. This role leads a team of developers, collaborates with IT, Operations, and internal customers, and reports to the Business Process Automation Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and mentor a team of automation developers.
Architect and develop complex automation solutions for various applications, including:
CareView app
Automated Reports
EZNET User Maintenance Tool
Audit Tools and Audit Letter Tools
Financial tools (e.g., Capitation Withholds tool)
Claims Audit Pro application
Establish best practices and coding standards for automation development.
Conduct high-level requirements gathering and analysis.
Create comprehensive technical and functional specifications.
Develop and implement testing strategies and plans.
Manage project timelines and resource allocation.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide advanced technical support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with business objectives.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred
5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a lead role
Expertise in ASP.NET framework and C#
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Strong experience with SQL Server, API development, and Model-View-Controller (MVC)
Familiarity with healthcare-related code sets (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, etc.)
Experience with Git version control and JIRA ticketing system
Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Proficient in MS Office applications
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
