The Difference You Will Make:This role is responsible for ensuring guests have a great experience while visiting The Goat restaurant and Morning Ritual coffee shop, leading and managing the barista team members, participating in recruitment efforts, coordinating and managing all on-site coffee shop training initiatives, and adhering to all required health and safety standards.
Who You Are:Grows the business profitably and increases partnership with guests. Assists with strategic market evaluations for growth opportunities. Guarantees customer satisfaction by ensuring staff delivers a safe, positive and memorable customer experience. Leads and manages teams of baristas ensuring experience goals and quality standards are achieved with each shift. Works with Goat staff team members to ensure all guests are managed and greeted appropriately, supports FOH operations between Morning Ritual and Goat as needed to ensure that food and drink orders are prepared to customer specifications. Ensures that inventory levels are adequate and accurate at restaurant. Performs audits as necessary. Partners with the management team to approve staffing schedules for the front of the house. Documents performance issues, including recognizing staff for a job well done. Leads Morning Ritual staff and operations against internal food safety standards and health regulations. Prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks and food orders for guests, wash and sanitize dishes as needed. Follow policy and process and hold the team accountable for practicing and adhering to restaurant protection guidelines set forth regarding: hours of operation, employee and consumer protection, adjusted business processes, and general best practice guidelines, to ensure the health and safety of everyone. Wears a clean, approved uniform, ensuring that staff does as well. Conduct new hire training, work with staff to ensure proper procedures and guidelines are followed by all team members. Completes other tasks and duties as assigned. What You'll Bring: Qualified candidates will have at least two (2) years of restaurant operations experience, leadership within coffee shop experience strongly preferred. High school degree or equivalent is required. This role requires outstanding and proven customer service and experience delivery skills. One must have previous associate management experience including assisting with recruitment efforts and inspiring staff through on-going training initiatives. Excellent time management skills required. Service Managers must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. ServSafe certification preferred.
