Lead Jewelry Consultant
Our Jewelry Consultants provide an exceptional experience for every Brilliant Earth customer. As a Jewelry Consultant Lead, you will guide the customer through the life of the sale through our engaging sales platforms, as well as provide mentorship and guidance to teammates. These team members assist our customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line. By meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment, this team creates personalized experiences while sharing the happiest moments of our customers' lives. The ideal candidate will be able to work a schedule that includes weekends.
What you'll do: Guide customers to purchase via in-person and virtual appointments, creating memorable and personalized experiences for each customer.Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads to attain individual and team goals and revenue targets.Proactively respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chats and phone calls while focusing on a luxury customer experience, reflective of our high-quality product.Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with your leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and your sales performance.Utilize sales strategies and forward-thinking problem-solving techniques to assist and guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions, such as ring settings selections and diamond options.Develop and demonstrate product knowledge as it pertains to our diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry.Use our ERP system to manage your tasks and communicate cross-functionally.Act as a brand advocate, sharing our mission of creating a more sustainable, transparent, and compassionate jewelry industry.Travel to support other showroom locations.Support onboarding new Jewelry Consultants through shadowing daily activities, as well provide support for continuing education.Participate in mentorship and training programs, providing dedicated support and guidance to new and existing Jewelry Consultants.Act as Assistant Manager on site, as needed, including but not limited to: assigning appointments, scheduling and sales dashboard oversight, and escalation management. What You Have: 1+ years of demonstrated high-achieving performance in a sales-based retail position (luxury and/or omni-channel experience, preferred)Experience managing people in retail or direct to consumer sales, store leadership or keyholder experience a plusDedicated desire to coach and mentor to set teammates up for success and continuously improve team performanceA true passion for helping people and creating positive customer service experienceHighly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processesMotivated self-starter with high efficiency work style, while maintaining attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communicationsAbility to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environmentExceptional time management skills and accountabilityTeam player with an ability to work collaboratively to achieve business goalsRobust CRM software experienceEntrepreneurial spirit / self-starterAbility to travel up to 50%Understanding and acceptance of diversity, equity, inclusion and workplace belonging conceptsInterest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products What We Offer At Brilliant Earth, we're passionate about supporting our teams.
