Lead Medical Technologist Full-time Afternoon Shift $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Job Summary: Perform routine and specialized tests and procedures for diagnosis and treatment Independently conduct complex laboratory procedures and maintain quality control Assist in developing new test procedures and methodologies Provide guidance and instruction to students and new employees Participate in quality assurance and regulatory activities Assume supervisory functions in the absence of the supervisor Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry with clinical laboratory training Certification by ASCP or equivalent agency Completion of a NAACLS accredited clinical internship or equivalent experience Working Conditions: Considerable walking and standing, occasional light lifting Work with hazardous reagents and infectious materials
