Lead Security Engineer (Avionics)

A key client of ours in the Aerospace sector is looking to bring on a Lead Avionics Security Engineer to manage and deploy aviation data security developments for airborne and ground-based products.
You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and be involved with various departments and stakeholders to enhance the safety and security of global aviation
Responsibilities: Guide hardware and software design for avionic security systemsDevelop and implement security protocol and procedureEnsure industry and airworthiness compliance (FAA; RTCA; DO-326A, DO-355A, DO-356A)Development of security architectures and building of infrastructures for test procedures and setupsProvide technical input during customer design reviews Supervisory Responsibilities: Direct oversight to a team of Security EngineersCoordinate assignments/duties, provide mentorship and performance reviews Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber-Security, or similar)10 years of security-related experienceSecurity Certifications are beneficial; CISSP, CCSP, CCDE, RHCE, MCSEStrong knowledge of system architectureUnderstanding of TCP/IP, Linux, firewallsFamiliarity with NIST and ISO27001 standardsExperience performing security and vulnerability analyses for aircraft systemsMUST BE ITAR COMPLIANT (US CITIZEN OR GREENCARD HOLDER)
