Job Description Litigation Legal Assistant - El Segundo, CA

We are actively recruiting an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of five years in civil litigation and trial practice to become an integral part of a dynamic team. The firm provides support in a friendly, team-oriented environment that allows for immediate responsibility and growth potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive support to attorneys across all aspects of case management. Collaborate with attorneys in the preparation, proofreading, revision, and finalization of legal documents. Conduct E-Filing in state, federal, and appellate courts. Manage confidential information, files, records, legal documents, and reports. Perform intake and conflicts checks, process time entries, and handle client billing. Maintain attorneys' calendars, coordinate travel, schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences. Undertake additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation law; California-specific experience is preferred. Positive attitude, proactive mindset, flexibility, and a strong team player. Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Professional. Expertise in electronic document management systems, with a deep understanding of local rules and procedures for filing in California and Federal courts, as well as e-filing and calendaring. Strong organizational, communication, and client service skills. Excellent writing and proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail. Capability to prioritize tasks based on urgency, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to work overtime when required. Experience with iManage and Compulaw is a plus.
