Ensures customers & patients are always delighted. Assists in the achievement of store success by managing key optical & lab processes (if applicable) & systems to exceptional results.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWhile working in RetailEnsure the LensCrafters team provides unsurpassed Customer ServiceProactive & solution driven, accurate execution & product knowledgeAssists customers with selections, provides recommendations, assists sales associatesServes as a responsible alternate store key holderUnder current & valid state Opticianry license performs the following: provide expertise & product knowledge on lens choices based on the patient's vision needs & OD prescription, adjust and/or repair eyewear as needed, present & dispense eyewear, performs accurate digital measurements While working in Lab, if applicableCustom fits glasses & precisely place prescription in lensesWorks with associates to strengthen their knowledge, skill, & certification for foundational product & store processes related to lens and lab technologyEnsures finished eyewear meets optical standards & customer requirementsCreates a safe working environment for all, demonstrates safe work practicesResponsible for basic operation, cleaning & ongoing maintenance of lab tools & systemsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSHS diploma/GEDCurrent & valid state Opticianry licenseStrong optical & retail experienceKnowledge of current optical theory & merchandiseStrong communicator & listenerStrong inter-personal skillsStrong basic math skillsSales skillsProblem solving abilityFamiliarity with cash register, computers & calculatorsLeadership & training experienceEdging & mounting experienceBasic optics knowledge & optical measurement experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSState licensure (if applicable) &/or ABO Certification in non-licensed statesLensCrafters Final Eyewear Inspector CertificationLensCrafters Quality, Fitting & Adjusting ProgramOptical machinery/instruments experienceCustomer service experienceAccuFit Digital Measurement System certificationKnowledge of current store merchandise & lens optionsPay Range: 23.42 - 38.61 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
