Job Description Description Essential Functions Medicated aerosol delivery Airway clearance therapy Patient monitoring (bedside spirometry, noninvasive monitors, and ECG) Oxygen and humidity therapy Special procedures (CPR, collect data, equipment setups) Required For All Jobs Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. Qualifications Position Requirements: Experience in basic respiratory therapy procedures preferred. Student experience is required. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, as well as, exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic. Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients/customers.

Education: High School Equivalent / GED Currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory care program is required Experience in basic respiratory therapy procedures preferred. Respiratory student experience required.
