Line Cook

Osteria Del Fornaio is interviewing for full time or part time Line Cooks. Hot line cooking experience in a full service restaurant is helpful but not required. Weekends are required.

Prior experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Pantry, Grill, Pasta, Pastry, Pizza, Saut is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

* Cooking and preparing menu items in accordance with recipes and standards set by Il Fornaio

* Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line

* Preparing and portioning recipes prior to service

* Maintaining a clean and professional appearance

* Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines

* Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude

* Communicating clearly, professionally and respectfully

* Being able occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

* Having a flexible work schedule including weekend availability and holidays
