At True Food Kitchen we pride ourselves on serving great food! This means that we rely on our line cooks to consistently and efficiently prepare and cook our recipes to the highest quality. Many items on our menu are seasonal which gives our line cooks a variety of recipes to prepare as we rotate throughout the year

AM/PM and Mid-day shifts available. Part time to 40 hours available per person. We look for people who: Have experience in a minimum of one of these stations Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Saute, Grill
Experience in more than one a PLUS! Only know one or two stations? We have a enhanced development program to "level up". Continue growing and continue learning! Preferably have at least 6 months experience in a similar capacity in a high-volume restaurant The flexibility and availability to work nights, holidays and/or weekends should be doable Exhibit exceptional knife skills Can work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment Read and execute a recipe A love of making great food and understands the accountability of presenting quality dishes! What you will be doing: Prepare and cook a variety of starters, entrees, pizzas and more using a variety of kitchen equipment and techniques Know and comply consistently with portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service Portion food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and corresponding equipment Execute proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes Handle, store, and rotate all products properly and according to standards Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed Opens and closes the kitchen properly, assists others and follows checklists for kitchen stations Understand and follows proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures Participate in proactive communication to help avoid and solve operational, HR, and financial issues Flexible during shift to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed.
