Line Cook/Prep Job DescriptionLocation: College Park, MD, 20740Skills Required: Line Cook Prep CookJob Description:The Line Cook/Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure.Responsibilities: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring ingredients Cook meals according to recipes and customer orders Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is safe for consumption Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and taking out the trash Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served on timeRequirements: Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
