Job Description:
Line Operator
Brief Description:
Fulfill a variety of objectives on assigned line.
Preparation, assembly, and preparation of frames and/or inserting components.
Removal of parts from mold caps and demolition of foam parts.
Clean imperfections and debris from inside and outside the mold surface.
Apply wax to the inside of the mold.
Insert the frame and/or other components into the mold caps.
Clean the ventilation holes.
Produce quality parts and minimize waste and repairs.
Handle finished foam parts in a way that does not damage the product.
Maintain a clean work area.
Adapt to task changes as product and quality requirements evolve.
Perform other tasks as assigned/needed by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Employees must be able to efficiently perform all aspects of the job and follow instructions.
Qualification Period:
The assignee will be instructed on the duties and responsibilities of a line operator. Twenty-one(21) working days will be granted to develop the skills and achieve satisfactory performance.
Safety:
Employees are responsible for meeting and maintaining the expectations of the plant's safety standards and regulations established by the safety program, including but not limited to environmental, health, and safety instructions, and 5S instructions.
Employees are responsible for reporting all unsafe acts or conditions to supervision and are required to participate in scheduled safety training activities according to the company.
