It is the contract vehicle for the Enterprise Infrastructure Services organization overseeing MPOs Enterprise Information Technology (EIT). EIT is MPOs backbone- platform for all Enterprise users. Data Center & Compute Services is the EIS enabling organization working with customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPT), and vendors to deliver select EIT.
The Linux System Administrator needs skilled resources from industry to provide the following: Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems and installs/loads operating systems software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare. Build, install and configure infrastructure related software. The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of fifteen (15) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required or relevant experience may be considered.
Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or bachelors degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience
Experience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.
Understanding networking components is desired.
