The Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by the Loan Officers. In this role, you will be gathering information for each loan and guiding the file from pre-approval to closing. You will be responsible for inputting loan information into LOS, verifying completeness, and compliance with all company policies. You are the person who is preparing the application for submission to underwriting for their review.
What you will do for Constructive Capital: Order and coordinate loan documents Provide customers with timely and periodic status updates on their loan application Return all inquiry calls within one business day Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records, and/or other documents for recurring internal reports Ensure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies Meet crucial deadlines as requested Analyze and record all incoming documents for compliance and loan eligibility. Review the complete file and ensure the various documents in the file are in sync with all the others and the loan application on the system Follow up on the status of the services ordered to ensure minimum delay from order to receipt Upon receipt of the loan decision from the underwriter,liaise with the various internal and external parties in order to address the additional requirements from the underwriter Verify and validate supporting income, assets, and liabilities Review and verify credit reports Maintain open communication with customers, real estate brokers, and loan officers to; ensure proper and timely processing and submission of mortgage applications Update mortgage applications What you will bring to Constructive Capital:High school diploma/GED required 2 + years of experience in the mortgage industry preferred Encompass experience a plus Proven customer service skills Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications Effective verbal and communication skills High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Must have proven experience processing FHA loans Strong understanding of GFE, TIL, and RESPA rules Proven ability to fund a minimum of 20 loans per month Excellent written and verbal communication skills Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
