Cross Country Allied is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Santa Monica, California.
Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract $7,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
Under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Vascular surgeon, and Radiologist, operates radiographic equipment to obtain radiographic images of designated portions of the body to include cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular, and neurological systems. Performs all phases of cardiac, peripheral, vascular, and neuro-interventional to patients in Cardiac Cath Lab in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the values and mission of the organization.
Required qualifications:
Completion of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist training program.
Approved RCIS training program; or
Cath Lab specific on-the-job training.
California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 1 year of hire; or
National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire; or
National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire; or
National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire; or
National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 1 year of hire.
Minimum 1 year Cath Lab/IR Experience.
