Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving operations at the plant, ensuring accurate and timely handling of finished goods, work-in-process, raw materials, and waste. Coordinate daily schedules for shipping and receiving, manage downtime effectively, and optimize personnel utilization. Meet customer order fill rate goals and identify opportunities to enhance customer service. Collaborate with customer service to establish optimal in-stock dates as needed. Work with Operations to develop supply plans aligned with customer and business needs. Develop and execute inventory plans to support customer fill rates and improve working capital results. Verify and ensure the accuracy of products moving to the warehouse in terms of description, quantity, and number. Track and expedite pick labels and orders to ensure timely arrival, contributing to efficient inbound and outbound warehouse shipments. Address customer complaints promptly, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve issues effectively. Enforce plant rules, monitor attendance, and administer corrective actions as necessary. Review and communicate safety guidelines, workplace policies, and OSHA requirements to personnel. Provide leadership during the annual inventory process. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics, or equivalent combination of education and experience 5-7 years of relevant experience Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations and lean manufacturing techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong team player, problem solver, with good coaching/teaching abilities and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in SAP, production planning systems, and Microsoft Office
