Full timeShift: Description: Position Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurse - with Meds - Hospice, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Functioning in the spirit of teamwork, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization. Specialty: Hospice Location : Franklin County and six surrounding counties hours of office: Nights 12 hour shift - est start time 4pm What You Will Do: Work with hospice team and follow care plan Help education family on care plan and medication Provides nursing care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of School of Practical Nursing Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio Experience: Previous Hospice or Home Care Experience preferred Position Highlights and Benefits: Competitive compensation and benefits packages including medical, dental, and vision with coverage starting on day one.
