Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Promoter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and promoting products or services to potential customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in heart of Old San Juan and to directly engage with customers and drive sales through effective promotion strategies.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to promote products or services
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell items
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Maintain product stock levels and ensure displays are visually appealing
- Demonstrate basic math skills when handling transactions
- Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Utilize bilingual skills if applicable to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for transactions
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for engaging with diverse customers
Requirements:
Fluent in English (Spanish is a bonus)
This job is in person, no remote or hybrid options
Must be at least 18 years of age
