Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic team at our urgent care center. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for patient care, and be eager to learn and grow within the field of urgent care.

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting, handling 40-50 patients per day. Administer IV therapy to dehydrated patients and perform breathing treatments as required. Conduct phlebotomy procedures, administer injections, and monitor vital signs. Assess and manage stable patients with injuries and other medical concerns. Collaborate closely with two healthcare providers and three Medical Assistants (MAs) during each shift. Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the urgent care environment. Engage in continuous learning and professional development related to urgent care practices. Specialty: Urgent Care Experience/Qualifications: Active California Licenced Vocational Nurse (LVN) License Must be IV certified. A minimum of one year of experience as an LVN is preferred but not required. Prior urgent care experience is desirable but not mandatory; schooling rotations may be counted towards urgent care experience. Exceptional team player with strong communication skills. Ability to be moldable, flexible, and open to learning how the urgent care center operates. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and patient care excellence. Hours/Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
