Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Maestro o Maestra for 6th grade students to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide instruction in various subjects including Math, Literacy, and Childhood Development
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a productive learning environment
- Conduct standardized testing and assessments to evaluate student progress
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to support student learning
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student success
Requirements:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and educational best practices
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Background in literacy education and math instruction
- Experience in special education or daycare settings is a plus
- Previous experience in a private school environment is preferred
