*The Mail Associate performs office services functions to include mail receipt and delivery, shipping/receiving*
**Responsibilities:**
Must have great customer service skills, be reliable and self-motivated
* Able to communicate effectively with many different types of people
* Receive, count and sort all incoming mail pieces.
* Assist with incoming parcels, freight, etc.
* Assist in deliver of packages to departments and cubicles using P.D.A system to scan and sign for packages.
* Process incoming items, letters and packages.
* Prepare and package outgoing materials to prevent in-transit damage.
* Prepare all appropriate shipping documentation. Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times
* Drives a company vehicle to transport personnel, visitors and/or customers, and goods/materials.
* Delivers, loads and unloads mail and other items as requested.
* Maintains a driver's log and presents billing forms to designated representatives.
* Collects receipts
* Oversees the appearance, operation, maintenance and servicing of the vehicle.
* May serve as a courier, delivering packages, documents and mail.
* Possess a "can do" attitude and can effectively work individually or in a team environment
* Other duties as assigned by manager
**Qualifications:**
* High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
* Minimum of 1-2 years Customer Service experience preferred
* Valid driver's license
* Experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
