Apply now for immediate consideration.Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have the versatility to work on various equipment within the facility and support all departments. This position requires an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Technician capable of performing preventive maintenance and repairs on various industrial machinery. The candidate will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and determine whether to perform in-house repairs or seek external support. Proficiency in reading and following electrical schematics is crucial. Additional responsibilities include basic plumbing, industrial wiring, and managing HAZMAT-related items. Enforcing safety rules and ensuring employee safety is also part of the role, with a significant focus on diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.Key Responsibilities:Work under pressure to repair equipment and ensure it's up and running with urgency.Address production and facility equipment failures and ensure optimal equipment efficiency and reliability.Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, and compile repair lists for immediate and long-term fixes.Perform routine facility maintenance on pumps, lighting, compressors, ovens, and production equipment.Identify and resolve potential safety hazards and ensure proper HAZMAT storage, handling, and disposal.Conduct light machining operations using vertical milling machines and lathes as needed.Perform welding and fabricating operations as required.Collaborate with Engineering and Quality departments to improve operations through process simplification and automation.Provide cross-training and support for less experienced team members and assist entry-level mechanics with complex repairs.Oversee external contractors, secure quotes, and ensure job completion.Be available for emergency repairs and facility-related projects on weekends or outside regular office hours.Required Qualifications:Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience in mechanical and electrical systems repair and preventive maintenance.Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and diagrams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or within a team.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Must read, write, and speak English fluently.Valid driver's license required for sourcing small parts.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with high-pressure gas systems (up to 10,000 psi).HAZMAT certification.Trade certifications in Welding, Electrical, or Construction.Experience with PLC programming and natural gas controls.Benefits Medical, dental, Vision Disability plans401(k)Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
