We are currently looking for a FULL TIME Mammo Tech for our El Monte location.

We are seeking to fill a Full and Part-time Mammogram Technologist position. The technologist must be willing to travel to other Centrelake Imaging & Oncology locations for training. The technologist will perform mammograms including, but not limited to:
Positioning and instructing the patient, operating imaging equipment, and determining the technical factors.
Ensuring correct marking/labeling of all images.
Providing and confirming proper documentation of procedures requested/performed, patient history, etc., to assist in diagnosis.
RESPONSIBILITIES Performs the setup and acquisition of prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
Educates patients/families regarding the procedure and/or treatment to be performed.
Obtains and verifies physician orders.
Performs room cleanup.
Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements as indicated.
Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and notify appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance.
Ensures the efficient operation and workflow of the department by scheduling and re-evaluating workflow throughout the day.
Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
Maintains accurate department data for reporting purposes.
REQUIREMENTS CA License
A.R.R.T Certificate
Radiography training, FFD, with CRT licenses
Current CRT license in Mammography
Pay rate varies and is discussed at the interview. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem. Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.
