Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: Establish and maintain deep understanding of assigned partner function(s) and the overall business; build credibility and trust with managers and drive change, embed, and sustain a high-performance culture. Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans at a local level. Partner with assigned business leaders to effectively investigate and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, accommodations and disciplinary actions, including manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations; provide advice, counsel, and coaching to managers. Consult and Partner with COEs (ER, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent & Organization Development, Legal and People Operations) and business leaders to drive effective HR processes and people strategies and improve organizational effectiveness including staff development, talent acquisition, leaves, compensation and other areas. Support execution of various HR processes for assigned partner functions including performance management, merit and compensation planning, talent review, succession planning and development actions, performance review/rating processes, and partner with Director, HRBP and functional leaders during these processes. Establish and maintain strong, positive, and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization and provides proactive consultation to directors and managers. Work with client leadership to assess employee engagement and develop actions plans to ensure diverse, inclusive, and engaging workforce. Work with line leaders to understand core capabilities needed to drive the business and translate into actionable developmental programs for the functional and individual areas. Works with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to source and build a diverse and high performing team including working closely with department managers to understand staffing needs, create job descriptions, conduct interviews, and counseling hiring managers on candidate selection. In partnership with Talent & Organization Development, deliver training for various levels and topics, including leadership development, coaching and performance management. Execute change management plans at the operational level, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes, systems or structures. Support the day-to-day HR administrative work with the client, such as onboarding delivery, job description reviews, I-9 completions, coaching documentation, off-boarding and other various operational support tasks. Drive consistency in administering human resources policies and procedures to ensure positive employee experience and maintains in-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance as it relates to employment law, reducing risk. Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment; and ability to navigate ambiguous business situations. CAPABILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED

To take on these challenges, you'll need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field. Minimum of 6 years' experience in Human Resources and/or Organizational Development. Experience working in both small and larger organizations is preferred. Strong functional capabilities with talent expertise; understanding and some experience in multiple areas of HR (e.g. talent acquisition; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training). Driven by a strong internal desire to impact the organization; has a track record of success in delivering HR solutions that enable achievement of business strategies and priorities. Ability to prioritize, problem-solve and translate concepts into action items. Expertise in developing solutions and influencing others utilizing facts/data analytics. Knowledge of federal and local employment laws from wage and hour, discrimination, to reasonable accommodations, etc. Must perform with a consultative style and approach with proven ability to foster credible relationships with business partners and to effectively influence them. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations. Physical Requirements: General office environment, ability to sit for long periods. Ability to move about in office and manufacturing facilities. Ability to travel as required, up to 10% and work non-standard business hours/flexible work style and approach based on client needs. Work in office in West Hills 3 days per week with expectation to travel to Valencia (R&D facility) 1-2 days per month.

Environment: Exposure to disagreeable elements is moderate. Production Environments: Requires wearing hairnets, lab coat, ear protection, safety shoes, and safety glasses. Compliance with all cGMP processes.

Safety: The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Annual Pay Range
$128,228.00 - $192,290.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
