Community Tax (CTAX)
is a national leader in Tax Resolution, and related accounting and tax services with offices in Chicago, Jacksonville, and San Juan, and near shore operations across Latin America. As we continue to scale operations, with office locations in two states, Puerto Rico and 2 additional countries, we are looking for a manager with broad general experience to structure and to drive our future technology planning, to supervise the day- to-day work of our IT team as it administers the firm's computer systems /networks, and to lead firm efforts with respect to updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.

Responsibilities Include:
Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs;
Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company's network software whenever a new update is available;
Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company's network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem – and overseeing the execution on those plans in the event of an outage;
Iterating and overseeing our programs for network and data security;
Working closely with other department heads to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company's network, hardware, and software approaches;
Provide server and networking support alongside the rest of the IT team;
Liaise with external developers on a variety of projects involving the firm's customer relationship management and telephony software;
Maintain and manage Company Inventory of IT Equipment;
Prepare and manage budgets on IT spend from personnel to asset management;
Oversee network admin and help desk functions of the business;
Developing and implementing IT policies and best practices;
Make recommendations, justify, and implement improvements within already existing infrastructure.
You should have experience and advance skills in the following:

Vendor Management
Patch Management Software experience
PowerShell
Linux experience
Bitlocker encryption
Proven track record of successful system/network deployments
Ability to discuss high level projects at a non-technical level.
