The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that includes business development, operations, and portfolio directors, ensuring the success of individual team members, programs, and the custom portfolio as a whole. This role demands a proven, motivated leader with a collaborative leadership style, high standards, and great judgment. The ideal candidate will have a forward-looking and strategic mindset, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and complex environment. Deep familiarity with executive education, executive development, or corporate learning and development is essential, as is a Bachelor's degree and over 15 years of successful leadership experience.
Key responsibilities include thoughtfully recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team, shaping and executing a growth strategy for the program portfolio, and managing P&L responsibilities. The Managing Director will also be a trusted thought partner, working closely with senior leadership to maximize faculty development, educational impact, and financial contribution. The role involves partnering with key stakeholders, including faculty and senior executives, to design and deliver educational experiences that align with the organization's mission and values. The successful candidate will be adept at assessing evolving program design needs, including digital and virtual solutions, and will lead business development efforts to acquire new clients. A strong commitment to establishing and maintaining relationships with all program constituents is a fundamental aspect of this position.
