The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (advanced degree preferred). The role involves overseeing the employee relations function for the region, developing and implementing strategies to foster a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Key responsibilities include managing a team of Employee Relations consultants, directly handling complex employee relations matters, and advising on appropriate protocols for investigations. The Head of Employee Relations will also be responsible for developing and delivering training programs, analyzing data to identify trends, and partnering with various stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and security.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of North American employment laws, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and manage senior executives. They should be proficient in time management, task prioritization, and have a strong ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Project and change management skills are essential, as is the ability to leverage data for decision-making. The role requires a leader who can demonstrate empathy for different cultures, promote positive business behavior, and ensure a culture of individual accountability. The Head of Employee Relations will work closely with the Global Head of Employee Relations and Conduct to align the region's strategy with the company's overall HR strategy and business objectives.
