Manual Qa Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues. Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Execute test cases, document results, and track defects using industry-standard tools. Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software releases by conducting regression testing and verifying bug fixes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards and project timelines. Provide clear and concise reporting on test progress, results, and overall quality metrics. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in manual software testing, with a focus on web and mobile applications. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Proficient in creating and executing detailed test cases and test plans. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing streaming applications or platforms. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Experience with automated testing tools (a plus but not required). Knowledge of SQL for database testing. Hourly Rate: $35-50 hr.
