Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking Experienced Manufacturing Planners to join our Vertical Lift team in Mesa, AZ. You will provide hands-on Production Engineering support to Boeing Mesa Vertical Lift Programs specifically in the Electrical Centre of Excellence (ECoE). You will be working with a highly skilled team of Manufacturing Engineers, Product Review Engineers, Tool Engineers, and Industrial Engineers to develop real time solutions and innovations to complex manufacturing issues.Position Responsibilities: Provides Manufacturing Planning support by creating, updating, and revising new and existing fabrication instructions in support of multiple programs.Provides technical guidance for line side support, shop floor work instructions, and bills of material.Works with cross functional teams to develop technical solutions & processes improvements in coordination with Operations, Liaison & Tool Engineering, Supplier Quality, Supplier Management, and Program ManagementPerforms producibility assessments for part or product designs.Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asyleeBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):An Associate's Degree or higherMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing PlannerMinimum of 5 years of experience with wire bundle fabrication concepts, wire installation, electrical equipment installation, or installation of wiring provisionsMinimum of 3 years of experience working in a engineering, manufacturing and/or production environmentMinimum of 1 year of experience leading teams or projectsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in supporting commercial and military customers.Production process knowledge of wire harness & panel fabrication or installationTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position does not offer relocation.
