Responsibilities: Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Read, interpret, and use drawings, electrical and control circuit diagrams, equipment, and schematic manuals as references when performing control, mechanical, and electrical works.
Maintain machines and manufacturing equipment working in excellent conditions. Inspect their mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic components to detect or verify that they are operating properly.
Assemble and install equipment and machinery using hand precision tools.
Maintain work relations and coordination with personnel in the production, quality and Engineering department.
Qualifications: Vocational, technical education or certification in electronics or industrial electromechanics Experience troubleshooting semi-automated systems including test, assembly, and other process equipment.
