The primary role is to perform massage and bodywork for patients to relieve muscular pain and tension, normalize joint function, increase circulation and relieve stress. Works under the supervision of integrative medicine physician and collaborates with other practitioners to provide exceptional integrative medical care to all patients. Collaborates with other massage therapists across integrative medicine locations to implement and sustain best practices in the area of therapeutic massage and body work. Plays an integral role within the care team, acting as a resource and educator for patients, family members and clinical staff. Also provides specialized massage care to specific patient populations within other care centers, outpatient or inpatient units within the hospital environment.Job Description:EDUCATION:HS Diploma: High School Diploma or GEDCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:CAMTC-Certified Massage TherapistBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare ProviderTYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 8 years of recent relevant experience.
