Lafayette Physical Therapy, Inc. has been an established private practice in the community for 50 years. We provide rehabilitation services for orthopedics, sports, pelvic health, geriatric rehabilitation and more to a diverse clientele. We have grown our wellness services program to include Massage, Pilates Instruction, Personal Training, Balance Classes, Class IV Deep Tissue Laser therapy for pain management and tissue healing. We have clinics at two locations - Lafayette and Pleasant Hill. We currently have one massage therapist and are looking for an additional massage therapist.

Our clinic welcomes Massage Therapists who are interested in working in a collaborative healthcare environment where skills and expertise are shared to improve the client experience and outcomes. We are looking for in a massage therapist with a diverse skillset who would like to become part of our team providing exceptional therapeutic massages. Massages are separate sessions and are not part of Physical Therapy treatment sessions.
Electric hi/lo tables, linens, lotions, personal protective equipment., etc. are provided.
Qualifications:
• Current California Massage Certification (or pending)
• Therapeutic Massage Therapy Skills in Swedish, Sports, and Deep Tissue. New graduates are welcome to apply.
• We have a strong team atmosphere that requires an energetic and positive person with a good work ethic, accountability, and reliability.
• Must have excellent communication skills with clients, staff, and management
• Clean background check
• Good customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills Ability to build and manage a schedule of clients.
• Ability to be self-directed when necessary while strictly adhering to task priority and relevance.
• Ability to work successfully within the guidelines of the clinic as well as the rules and regulations applying to the profession and working under a Physical Therapy office.
• Display the ability of time management within a schedule with minimal supervision
Employment Type: W-2 Employee
Wage Information: Starting hourly wage is $30/hour + Service Bonus for services performed. Once established with regular clientele the average total compensation is typically between $40 and $45/hour.
Schedule: Part time with ability to increase to Part Time + or full time based on client demand. Let us know what you are interested in working, and the minimum and maximum hours you would prefer to work. Possible shifts Monday through Friday.
We are looking for a massage therapist who is interested in working between 10-25 hours per week. We are open Monday - Saturday for massage services. Let us know what your availability and desired schedule is.
