The Department The Matchday Stewarding and Security Team have a vital role on a matchday creating and ensuring a safe and enjoyable matchday experience for our customers in and around Villa Park.
LocationVilla Park, B6 6HE**The Role**
Working as part of the Matchday Steward team, your primary function will be overseeing the safety of all customers at Villa Park and ensuring the Stadium's compliance with Ground Regulations and the Safety Certificate. This will include attending pre-match briefings, carrying out pre-match safety checks, conducting searches upon entry to stadium and liaising with colleagues, Stadium Control and emergency services as required. You will also deliver outstanding customer service to our supporters by assisting supporters to their seats and managing any conflict that may arise within the Stadium.

**The Person**
The successful candidates must be aged 18 or over and hold or be working towards a Level 2 or 3 in Spectator Safety (or equivalent). The Club will provide this training if needed. You must be available to work Men's First Team home matches and occasional other events which will include evenings and weekends. We are looking for a clear and concise communicator who has a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment and can work calmly and effectively under pressure.
