Position Summary:The Material Handler 2 in Shipping is responsible for picking and unloading products rapidly, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and rotation.This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.Rotate product by date in the storage cooler while staying in rotation and picking the correct product based on age. Maintain accurate inventory and perform routine cycle counts. Transfer materials to the production room while ensuring production lines have all materials needed. Ensure all orders are picked on correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood) and wrap pallets. Separate pallets and store in appropriate designated areas. Unload product in a timely manner and ensure all pertinent information is accurate for each BOL. Verify paperwork and system transactions are all accurate. Move finished goods from production to the cooler and ensure proper product temperature. Perform other duties as assigned.What you will Need: GED/High School Diploma.2 years of forklift experience (some positions require stand-up forklift experience). Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math. Ability to multi-task and lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen.Minimum Qualifications:Performance efficiencies (fill rate, labor & yield), rework, OEE, production specification compliance, downtime communication. FO, KPI, Quality Response, Consumer ComplaintsTCIR, LWCREngagement Survey and RCE Phase Assessment resultsPhysical Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
