Material Handler / WaterJet Operator Level 1This position will be responsible for a majority of supporting functions at RibCo Facility within Malone's. This person will be responsible for all RibCo inventory and will conduct monthly cycle counts of raw materials. This position will require some heavy lifting and regular forklift driving. Additionally, the position is responsible for staging all jobs for production employees and supplying Mylars that are checked in and out weekly, along with delivering parts and tooling between facilities. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask is crucial. This position will also Operate WaterJet machine to produce machined parts to blueprints/job routers. It will include use of precision instrument to check parts as well as saws used within the facility. Note: Must have reliable transportation to drive vehicle between both facilities that are within less then 1/2 mile from each other.Job Responsibilities:Cycle counting of raw materials.Unloading trucks and receiving material into ERP system.Picking of raw materials and maintaining accurate inventory in the ERP systemChecking in and out Mylars Weekly if not Daily.Staging parts and tooling based off the schedule for production employees.Packing and delivering completed jobs to QC for final inspection.Checking Tooling and Staging racks at the main building and delivering to RibCo.Shearing blanks and requested material for the waterjetsRun Water Jet once it has been set upDeburr parts as machine runs or during the deburr operationFollow/read production travelerSign-off all paperwork documentationCheck parts with required gages per travelerObserve/listen to machine for malfunction concernsImmediately report any part out of dimensional tolerance or machine not performing as told or expectedOperate Band SawOperate Cold SawOperate Hem-SawOperate ShearFollow all production procedures for non-conforming productFollow all safety procedures and documentationEducation, Skills & Experience:High School Diploma/GEDExperience in material handling a plus, but not requiredAccurate countingBasic Microsoft Office experience / basic computer knowledge, willingness to learn our inventory softwareAbility to drive a forklift (previous experience is a plus)Self-motivated, responsible, and able to perform with little supervisionExcellent previous attendance recordsAbility to locate and read information to understand/read blueprints/drawingsBasic math skillsBasic blueprint reading skillsUse of various inspection gaugesMechanical aptitudeAbility to lift 50lbs without assistance/over requires assistanceCapability to work within a team environmentPrior machine/operating experience is a plusPhysical demandsPosition may require use of hands & arms with repetitive motion & reach.Position may require manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
