Our client, a leader in the consumer-packaged goods industry, is looking to elevate their supply chain operations and is actively seeking a dynamic Material Planner to join their team.
As an integral part of our client's team, the Material Planner will contribute to the fine-tuning of the supply chain, ensuring seamless operations and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, exceptional organizational abilities and a proven track record of collaborative success in cross-functional teams.
Material Planner Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive deployment plans aligned with production schedules and customer demand
Utilize ERP functionalities to optimize inventory levels and distribution, ensuring on-time delivery of products to meet customer requirements
Leverage ERP systems to monitor and analyze inventory data, track order fulfillment and identify opportunities for process improvement
Implement strategies to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while maintaining sufficient stock levels to meet customer demands
Work closely with production, procurement and warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory data
Foster effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, including production, logistics, sales and customer service teams
Proactively identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance overall supply chain performance
Generate and analyze reports to evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to deployment and logisticsMaterial Planner Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data
2-3+ years in inventory management, deployment, or logistics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in inventory management
