Job Title: Material Clerk Job Description
A leading designer and manufacturer of custom machinery for the production of corn and flour tortillas, corn and tortilla chips, tostadas, taco shells, quesadillas, burritos, pita bread, pizzas, arepas, chapatis, and other ethnic foods from around the world. T
The Expeditor works under the close supervision of the Production Supervisor moving parts from one department to another in accordance with the 'Traveler' instruction. Job orders are tracked and organized with the assigned parts. The position operates on 1st Shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with 1-2 hours of overtime daily at the most.
Hard Skills Directly move parts to each department for completion ensuring the processing of the proper paperwork Daily rounds begin with delivering parts to Sheet Metal, CNC, Welding, Detailing, and Assembly Daily collect all job orders on the production floor and verify information for accuracy Continually check each department throughout the day for completion Upon completion in detailing, parts are moved to next areas including oven, sheeter, press, and Customer Service Coordinate the travelers and report errors to the Production Supervisor Complete a Quality Discrepancy Report (QDR) for parts that are to be returned to various departments Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Pomona, California.
Work Environment
Must be able to utilize correct body mechanics during performance of physical activity such as pushing/pulling, stooping, squatting, sitting, and lifting as applicable to the position. Heavy manufacturing environment, not climate controlled.
