Job Description In the framework of a Photovoltaic plant construction project (125MW), we are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor . Roles and Responsibilities: Supervise the assembly, installation and execution of the different works on site according to the development of the activities during the execution, and the start-up or commissioning. Review of client requirements and client technical specifications. Management of subcontracted companies, controlling the daily progress of the work. Quality control during the assembly and assembly of tracker structures. Make personnel and time estimates. Interpretation of plans. Profil Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in the assembly and construction of large photovoltaic plants projects (+50 Mw). Knowledge of mechanical assembly, leveling of piles, leveling of trackers, leveling and anchoring of panels, visual inspection of structure. Experience working with, supervising, and administering subcontractors. Knowledge of state, federal, and local contracting requirements. Knowledge of local labor laws and issues. Familiarity with photovoltaic and industry quality standards. Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines. Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs which may require extensive walking in and around a construction site, walking on uneven surfaces. Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen, physical, and background check which includes verification of employment and education. Good knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other common applications used in the construction industry. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Willingness to be located on remote site.
