About the Role The Company is seeking a Media Director to join their team. This role is pivotal in the supervision of a team of media personnel, preparing and overseeing the implementation of media plans, and ensuring that projects are on track and delivered in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with account executives, internal stakeholders, the CEO, and clients to determine the most effective media venues for each project. Additionally, the Media Director will be involved in preparing and maintaining media schedules and costs, as well as coordinating with the creative team and production manager to meet publication deadlines. Strong presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to manage a team and settle billing discrepancies with publications.
Applicants for the Media Director position at the company should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in media buying, planning, and digital/programmatic marketing, with a focus on OOH, print, and traditional media. Experience with media software, particularly Advantage, and DSP Simpli.fi is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of managing a team, as well as the ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make independent decisions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of the media landscape, and be able to adapt to the evolving needs of the industry.
