Medical Assistant - Clinic

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for one of the large health systems based out of Boston, MA 02118.Job Title- Medical AssistantLocation- Boston, MA 02118Duration- 2months + Possible extensionShift- 8:30 AM - 5 PMPay Range- $20/hr. - $22/hr.Job Description• Maintains medical supplies inventory and performs preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.• Saves doctors' time by helping with office procedures.Required• Data entry test result REQUIRED• 40hrs full-time; 20hrs part-time. 8-hour shifts (staggered 7-3:30 and 7:30 4). • Holiday Requirement: Some staff is needed for Columbus Day. • Weekend Requirement: 3 Saturday flu clinics not all staff needed to work these days.
