Summary
The Medical Assistant works directly with our providers and the entire care team to deliver exceptional, individualized patient care. This role is responsible for the coordination of care between other departments and partner facilities. The Clinical Liaison will complete the Electronic Health Record, and promptly initiate orders for MRI, CT, Ultrasound and Surgery as directed by the provider. The right person for this role will be team oriented, service-minded and empathetic in their approach to our patients and their families.
Key Qualifications
o Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (40 WPM) are needed to excel in this role.
o Able to organize and prioritize.
o In depth knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and surgical procedures.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills Abilities Required High School Diploma or GED with Medical Assistant Certification and 2 years medical office experience. Knowledge of EHR system. Excellent communication skills. In depth knowledge of pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures as well as treatment modalities. Must be able to spell accurately. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Pay Information: $18.07 to $27.11/hour, based on experience.
