The Medical Assistant position at Pinnacle will allow you to engage with the patient throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care.We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Santa Monica Fertility, located in Santa Monica, CA. This is a full-time position, working fully onsite, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm, with required weekend and holiday rotations. RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet and check-in patients, obtain medical history, and verify patient information.Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.Perform basic diagnostic procedures such as taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering injections.Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.Manage electronic medical records (EMR) and document patient information accurately.Coordinate patient scheduling, including follow-up appointments and referrals.Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive care.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by following infection control procedures.Assist in inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies.Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.Other duties and project as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTSCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office or back-office clinic setting (preferred).Experience in women's health or fertility settings (preferred).Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).BLS Certified requiredProficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized with strong planning abilities.Service-oriented with strong social perceptivenessCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS$25.00-30.00 hourlyThe compensation range for this position is between $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Final compensation offers will be determined based on factors such as years of experience, skills, and qualifications.
