Preload paper or outside records. Prepare patient information for clinician review prior to appointmentEscort patients to exam rooms. Obtain history and perform initial assessment of vital signs-all while building rapport, helping people feel comfortable and setting the stage for a successful clinician visitFacilitate patient care by assuring clinician's orders are entered and follow-up occursCollaborate with other departments to meet patient needs (scheduling, benefits, etc.)Model WHA's values and commitment to The Patient ExperienceWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEHigh school diploma or GED (required)Graduated from an accredited medical assisting program or licensed as an LPN in the state of Oregon (required)Certified as an MA through the AAMA, NCCT or AMT, or, if recently graduated from an accredited MA programthe ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire date (required)CPR certification (required)Prior experience in phlebotomy/injections strongly preferredExperience with Epic EMR a plus!Salary Range/Equity Pay Analysis: Please note per the your salary is determined based on the experience and education listed in your resume/application.
