Overview:
About the Role Were looking for a board-certified physician with both strong healthcare industry experience and musculoskeletal expertise to provide a broad range of clinical support across Hinge Health. A primary focus of the role will be supporting our Commercial team, with significant additional clinical, product and research responsibilities. In this role, you will attend sales meetings nationally, both virtually and in-person, and deliver lectures and webinars to both commercial and clinical audiences. In addition, you will collect and synthesize requirements for improving the Hinge Health program, assist with the development of external materials (e.g. white papers, presentations), and establish strong relationships with other medical leaders across the industry. You will also provide MSK expertise internally to our physical therapists and health coaches, including clinical escalation support, and you will manage our expert medical opinion program. Other responsibilities include serving on internal clinical committees, providing input into product and technology development, and supporting Hinge Healths research program.

What You'll Accomplish Play a key role in promoting Hinge Health by supporting sales meetings both virtually and in-person.
Deliver impactful lectures and webinars to both commercial and clinical audiences.
Provide clinical input into partnership proposals and discussions with new and existing partners.
Establish relationships with medical directors from health plans, self-insured employers, consulting organizations, health systems and other digital health vendors.
Collect and synthesize external clinical requirements for Hinge Health product, operations, and clinical improvements.
Assist our physical therapists and coaches with managing clinical escalations.
Manage a team of outside physicians performing Expert Medical Opinions, ensuring consistent high quality.
Provide clinical input into the development of new product features and functionality.
Provide clinical input into Hinge Healths research studies.
Over time, you may grow and manage a team of clinical staff.
Hinge Health Hybrid Model (SF Radius Only) We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.
Qualificatons:
Qualifications MD or DO with 2+ years clinical experience in musculoskeletal care or pain management, well-versed in the biopsychosocial approach.
2+ years of healthcare industry experience with commercially-oriented responsibilities.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including roles of employers, health plans (commercial and Medicare), consultants and vendors.
Team player who shows respect for colleagues across teams and levels of seniority.
Interest in clinical research, education, technology, product design or innovation.
Comfortable with frequent travel.
Preferred Qualifications Board-certification in a musculoskeletal-related specialty (orthopedic surgery, physiatry, sports medicine, pain management, etc.) with active medical license.
5+ years of post-training clinical musculoskeletal practice.
10+ years of healthcare industry experience in commercially-oriented roles.
Deep industry relationships with health plans, consultants, vendors, etc.
Background or expertise in clinical research, education, technology, product design or innovation.
