Job Summary
Provides medical equipment products and services following company policies, procedures, and standards to meet the needs of patients and referral sources.
Responsible for routine sales, repair, and service of manual and power wheelchairs including related rehab equipment.
Participates in rehab seating clinics including the Avera Seating Clinic.
Education and/or Experience
~ One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to nine months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in power wheelchairs and related electronics required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Registered Complex Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (RRTS) with the National Registry of Rehabilitation Suppliers (NRRTS) preferred.
Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) preferred.
This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
May get called for afterhours repair, this is typically 3-6 times per year.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
~$20.00 - $24.75 per hour
