Your primary role is to provide documentation support, allowing healthcare providers to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.
Responsibilities: Documentation: Accurately record patient history, physical examination findings, and treatment plans as dictated by healthcare providers. Ensure all documentation is clear, concise, and complete. Medical Records Management: Assist in updating and managing electronic health records (EHRs) to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date. Clinical Support: Assist in organizing patient charts, managing electronic medical records, and handling administrative tasks as required. Communication: Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers, addressing any questions or concerns as they arise. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of medical scribe training or certification (e.g., Medical Scribe Certification (MSC)) preferred. Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Basic understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures. Proficiency in using computers and EHR systems. Work Environment: This position will be based in a clinical or healthcare setting, with potential exposure to patient care environments.
