Your insights and expertise will shape the future of our facilities and infrastructure.As a Mid-Level Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will develop technical design statements of work, review final designs, and provide rough cost estimates for various projects. Together, we will create innovative solutions and drive excellence in our field.Our Ideal Candidate will:Have design experience in the electrical engineering field, specifically in industrial, military, and commercial power, lighting, and control systemsPossess a strong knowledge of electrical upgrade and project management for power distribution and lighting systems, including conducting studies such as short circuit, load flow, voltage drop, protective device coordination, and arc flash analysisProvide technical expertise and advice on current system capacities and capabilities, as well as the impact of planned modifications and the development of backup operational plans for system outages or failuresBe able to recommend system upgrades and replacements, considering factors such as cost, design, savings, and efficienciesTake responsibility for the design, operation, and maintenance of on-site generators, UPS systems, Energy Management systems, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and security systemsPosition Responsibilities:Lead project teams in developing technical designs, final designs, and cost estimates for structural projects, ensuring safety and stabilityReview structural and seismic designs for compliance with customer requirements, building codes, and regulationsOversee drawing archives/libraries, identify errors, and document construction changes to meet regulatory requirementsCoordinate production or procurement of design documents, adhering to project parametersInterpret and analyze regulations to ensure project complianceForecast, monitor, and report site utilizes consumptionMaintain infrastructure systems for reliable and efficient utility operationsDevelop and implement conservation projects and employee awareness programsPrepare contingency plans for utilities interruptionsCoordinate conservation programs across the enterpriseCompile and report company utility consumptionEstablish enterprise policies, procedures, and guidelinesFacilitate enterprise-wide communications on utility issuesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's degree or higher in accredited course of study in electrical engineering5+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)5+ experience using AutoCAD, or similar Computer Aid Design packagePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience with building and safety codes5+ years of experience leading cross-functional engineering teams5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project5+ years of experience with RevitExperience in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment5+ years of experience working on facilities medium and high voltage electrical systems5+ years of experience designing building lighting and power calculations by applying National Electrical Code (NEC) to design5+ years of experience working on building fire alarm, UPs, and lighting controls5+ years of experience with conservation programs, Title 24Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
